Establishment of a 2300ha Banana farm in the North of Mozambique – Namialo, Southern Africa

The project included the development of the Farm from clearing bushes to harvesting to Banana’s.

The Project Scope included the following:

  • Main Line Irrigation & In Line Irrigation
  • Constructing 2 x Large holding dams
  • Pump House
  • Monitoring and Controlling Planting
  • Construction of 3 x Pack houses
  • Construction of Nursery
  • Construction of Farm Managers Residential homes
  • Roads between farms and to pack houses

Budget: US$37.5m

Complexity: Logistical issues due to the remote site.
